Omg this is weird:
my first dream was that i was in a tent with many people i knew from my school and then t his girl (who is quite attractve) starts talking to me??!! i dont even no her very much considering ive only seen her when she was with some of my m8s. This is the first dream on her i think!
Then when i go outside the tent i see another girl who i know is going out with another person i know!!
My third dream was that Emma watson (yes her!) came around my house on a place where ive never been before (a mountaintop hill??). My family is there but i dont get time to talk to her as i keep looking at a sign saying: £50 to have interview with harry potter cast??!!
Lastly before i wake up a massive spacecraft covered the sky and then landded on a river. I went to investigate but it was gone. I went back and then came back when i saw it again and found out that someone was firing at me. Thats it!!
Wat do these 4 dreams mean???
My husband and I are taking our 5 boys camping for the first time this fall. (we are in tx and any other time is just too hot. Kids ages are 9, 7, 5, 4 &1) I have no idea what i will need besides a tent and food! Can someone recomend a book or site for first time campers?
Also the local Walmart is pretty limited, they have a few 6-8 person tents, but i really wan something huge because there are so many of us. Academy didn’t have much online, and neither did gander (in way of a larger tent) where can i get one of those huge 12 person bad boys??
And when it comes down to it what are the necessities, things that you wouldn’t think of to bring until you need it? thanks in advance.
~we are staying at a local state park, a lot of gatrs, but no other dangerous wild life.
We have a 4 month old, but only a 2 person tent. We are looking to start camping again starting next month. We want one we can hopefully stand in (hubby is 6’2"), maybe has different rooms, but not a necessity. A screen porch type thing would be nice, but again not necessity. We do want enough room to have a place to get out of the rain when it does. It can get cold and decently windy where we go. And we’d love something that is easy to set up. We have 2 70 pound dogs that would also be there with us.
We have a van so it dosen’t have to break down too small, although that would be nice. And something with a carrying case that actually can fit back in once taken out.
We want an independent one, not one that attaches to a vehicle,

No, the firepit is not mine – I don’t make campfires! This video is not meant to sell the REI tent – just a bit of a demo on a single-person tent and how it operates. Although not very roomy it’s a relatively solid tent that does a good job of keeping the rain out. However, the wind easily makes its way in… This video was recorded near South Colony Lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains of Colorado. a two person tent is to be made so that the height at the center is 4 feet. if the sides of the tent are to meet the ground at an angle of 60 degree, and the tent is to be 6 feet in length, how many square feet of material will be needed to make the tent?

I just got elected Senior Patrol Leader of my scout troop. Thus far I’ve been able to get by without a tent but I figure I should probably get one now. I need a tent that’s fairly lightweight for camping trips. Thankfully, we don’t do too many long backing hikes(at most 4-7 miles), so it doesn’t have to be feather weight. Does anyone know what percent of your pack the tent should weigh? I’m debating between this three person tent (some sites say it can hold four)
http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2781729 and this two person tent.
http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2781727 The three person weighs about ten pounds :0 but the two person weighs only three. However, it’d be nice to have extra room so I can have another scout in mine, since we don’t have enough tents.
I have a gift card to Dick’s, so I’d be nice if I could find one from there.
Me and my g/f are going camping with friends in a month so I decided to do some research on tents. I have set up tents before and sleep in plenty but have never noticed the brand or style I was using.
Here are some of the specs I am looking. If you could please help me with some sizes, brands and maybe even a specific tent I would be unbeleievably thankful.
-Fits 3-4 ppl. I am 6’3" so I figured a two person tent just wouldn’t cut it. If 2 person tents would fit me let me know.
-Would stand up to rainfall. Doesn’t have to survive a storm b/c we would just get up and leave. Just be able to hold off some rain.
-Affordable. Not cheap, but not top of the line. Doubt I will use this tent all that often but I will use it more than once.
-Keeps bugs out. Not sure if tents offer new ways to keep bugs out but if they do that would be sweet.
If there is anything else I missed that is important please let me know.
