A review of the lightweight tent that I carry on lightweight to ultra lightweight backpacking trips. It’s the V-Lite2 by Hi-Tec. I’ve found it to be a quality low cost option for a 2 person, 3 season tent that is very compact and weighs in at under 2 and a half pounds when using it the way I illustrate in the video. When looking into purchasing this tent I couldn’t find any gear reviews on it, so I figured I’d post one. Hope this helps if you’re looking into this tent. my review on the ozark trail scout junior dome tent. comes in two colors: blue and orange. (if you got this tent reccomend bigger stakes.) got it at walmart for . it says its a 2 man tent and kinda is and is kinda not. for me (being 5,5) it was a 2 man tent but for others that are 6 foot or more probably not. i think it would be a great BOB tent.

But take you chances. The Dual Vestibule version is not as easy to get in and out of and there is plenty of room for a guy and a girl and all of your equipment so its just not needed and the extra weight is not needed. This is a much better option than the 2 person tent because it is half the weight with more useable vestibule space with plenty of room to change clothes and store all your gear. Go with this over the 2 man in my opinion. If you have to sleep 2 adult males you could in a pinch. I have seen some videos up grading the backcountry 1 tents with this fly… WHY???
