I went to the ‘tent city’ in Ontario CA Sunday 4/4/09 to see if I could get any footage or interviews with residents. I walked the perimeter on the public sidewalk and found one young man in his 20′s who was in his car going through some paperwork. He said he lived there, and when I asked him about the colored wristbands mentioned in an LA Times article. He said “oh, that was a long time ago, over a year’. Two other guys didn’t want to talk on camera. A woman resident then started cursing and shouting to the security guard that I was taking pictures. I was then approached by a SECURITAS security guard who was patrolling the property. He said he had been called by a resident who didn’t want anyone taking pictures. he said the camp was based after Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s camps in the Arizona desert. He spoke of the damage the Democratic party had done to the state. I told him I was a libertarian and he said he’s surprised the Republican party didn’t support Ron Paul. I told him I was doing some freelance work to submit for a story for INFOWARS. The guard knew of Alex Jones, who he had heard on George Noory’s show on Clearchannel’s KFI.
